About me

I first became interested in photography as a teenager, initially it was a fun hobby taking pictures at sporting events but after my first trip to the Pacific Northwest that interest became something much more serious.  It didn't take long before it went from being a fun hobby to being a passion as I began to branch out into other avenues of photography such as portraits and the occasional wedding while continuing to take hiking trips to Washington state and photographing the beautiful landscapes there. 

In more recent years sports photography has made up the bulk of my business, in a way taking me back to where I began.  With much of my sports photography work being done for schools it has led to bookings for senior portraits and in one instance the opportunity to create a portfolio for a contestant in the National American Miss Illinois pageant.

No matter what type of photography I'm doing the quality of the work and customer service are always most important.  Photography is an art and as with all forms of art the creative process takes work not to mention a true love for what you're doing, I've found the best way

to continue to improve my craft is to be my harshest critic rather than my biggest fan.
